QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design in a tech or defence field
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• High Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro (or equivalent video editing experience)
• Experience designing presentations in PowerPoint
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
• Skilled in copywriting and proofreading
• Experience in website editing tools and social media marketing tools, such as Hootsuite and Mailchimp
• Experience using SolidWorks Composer

ABOUT THE ROLE

DroneShield is seeking an all-rounder Graphic Designer with relevant experience to join the team in Sydney, New South Wales. The position will report to the Digital Design Lead. It represents a unique opportunity to design print and digital assets within the defence space. The company has a strong foundation in design and collaborates with a variety of commercial and military companies around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS

• The writing and graphic design of print and digital collateral such as brochures, presentations, social media collateral, user manuals & technical training material
• Maintaining the DroneShield website, scheduling social media posts and press releases
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines
• Must have a high attention to detail
• Must be collaborative, communicative, and responsive
