Description:

The Graphic Designer at Humantra will lead the visual design strategy across our product, packaging, retail, and social media channels. This role involves creating innovative designs that enhance the customer experience and reflect our brand values, while also driving brand presence and engagement in various markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that Humantra’s visual identity is consistent and impactful across all platforms

KEY CAPABILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in product, packaging, retail, and social media design.

SKILLS:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Experience in creating original graphics, wordmarks, and logos that fit within the brand’s aesthetic
  • Understanding of print production processes, including embellishment, printing, and finishing techniques
  • Strong background in creating and manipulating art with an understanding of print-ready files for production
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage a variety of ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to critically think and problem solve to achieve higher product standards

Responsibilities:

AS THE GRAPHIC DESIGNER, YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL DESIGN (40%):Design high-quality visuals for email & social media platforms, including static posts, stories, and ads that capture attention and drive engagement. Your designs will be a critical component of our digital marketing strategy, ensuring our brand’s visual identity resonates with our online audience.
  • PRODUCT & PACKAGING DESIGN (30%):Create innovative and visually appealing designs for product packaging that enhance the customer experience and reflect our brand values. Your designs will be key in driving customer engagement and brand loyalty through visually impactful packaging that stands out on shelves.
  • RETAIL DESIGN (20%):Develop engaging in-store visuals and point-of-sale materials that drive brand presence and sales. Your role will involve collaborating with retail teams to create designs that attract customers and enhance their in-store experience.
  • BRAND GUARDIANSHIP & INNOVATION (10%):Maintain and evolve our brand identity across all visual communications, ensuring consistency and quality in every touchpoint. Stay at the forefront of design trends, tools, and techniques to keep our brand fresh and relevant.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product & Packaging Design: Create innovative and visually appealing designs for product packaging that enhance the customer experience and reflect our brand values.
  • Retail Design: Develop engaging in-store visuals and point-of-sale materials that drive brand presence and sales.
  • Social Media & Digital Design: Design high-quality visuals for social media platforms, including static posts, stories, emails and ads that capture attention and drive engagement.
  • Collaboration: Partner with team members, merchandising teams, and development teams to achieve high-quality product outcomes. Work closely with the product, marketing, and sales teams to translate business objectives into compelling design solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to production, ensuring timelines are met and quality is maintained. Follow product lifecycle from launch to production, ensuring approvals on color, art, branding, and techniques.
  • Brand Guardianship: Maintain and evolve our brand identity across all visual communications, ensuring consistency and quality in every touchpoint.
  • Innovation: Stay at the forefront of design trends, tools, and techniques to keep our brand fresh and relevant.
