Graphic Designer

Market America | SHOP.COM, a product brokerage and Internet marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing, is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to assist our Creative Services Department.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Graphic Designer produces original yet stable designs, including but not limited to catalogs, ads, flyers, banners, signage, product labels, and logos, animations, and GIFs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Two- or four-year degree in Graphic Design or Bachelor of Fine Arts
• Four years of experience in professional graphic design in print, print production, typography, color and layout, and spot color work

COMPUTER/COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• Proficient use of MS Office Products, Adobe Creative Suite, and Mac OSX platform
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
• Thrives under pressure of deadlines and changing priorities
• Ability to get along and work with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible
• Prioritizes and models good communication skills; follows up, timely responses, proactive and positive in approach
• Above moderate to high levels in reading comprehension, writing, and speaking in English; active listening; attention to detail; critical thinking; creative problem solving; complex problem solving; and judgment.
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive—but is able to recognize and support senior management’s preferences and priorities to advance the organization
• Results and people oriented, with judgment to balance other business considerations
• Service oriented, but assertive/persuasive

• Creates attractive creative pieces based on existing layouts
