REQUIREMENTS
At least two years of experience in graphic design or print, especially for physical products.
Expertise in the following areas, for both physical and digital media:
- Graphic design, layout and composition.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Typography and fonts.
- Logos and branding.
- Presentation of ideas.
- Print set up and proofing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A portfolio showcasing your graphic/layout and print work
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Photography and video editing.
- After Effects and motion graphics.
- Illustration and drawing skills.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for an experienced part-time/freelance/contractor graphic designer to support us across projects on the record label, merchandise and general Laced branding.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in graphic design in a similar production or product-based role, with a strong preference for those who have worked with vinyl and other merchandise.
We’re looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail and broad knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. The candidate should be able to handle both digital and print design, managing project from concept to completion.
The successful applicant will collaborate closely with our team to manage multiple projects within our record label and merchandise services.
While this role is fully remote, we prefer candidates based in the UK, where most of the team is based.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and layout of vinyl packaging and labels.
- Design and layout for various merchandise products.
- Apply creative vision to take products from concept to completion.
- Present concepts, ideas and iterations in company branded presentations for clients.
- Set up and proof of print files for a variety of product types such as screen prints, packaging, apparel and many more.
- Creation of 2D and 3D product renders (Photoshop or other 3D software if you have experience with them)
- Design and creation of social media and marketing images for our products and company branding.
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- E-commerce store banner designs.
- Follow all company and client style and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with various teams to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Efficiently organise and store all files within company archives and folders.
