QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in digital content and YouTube-specific assets.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Google Slides, and familiarity with motion graphics.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of current design trends and a proactive approach to incorporating them into projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design Leadership: Lead the development of captivating and on-brand YouTube thumbnails and other assets for various clients, ensuring a strong visual impact. Mentor and coach team members through 1:1s and internal workshops.
• Strategic Contributions: Drive and document best practices for the design group to collaborate successfully with other teams, ensuring high standards in design deliverables and seamless contribution to video projects.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality. Organize the pipeline of incoming design requests and communicate direction to team members.
• Brand Development: Contribute to the evolution and refinement of new brands’ visual identities, ensuring all designs align with established brand guidelines and effectively communicate the brand’s values.
• Collaboration: Work closely with channel management and video editing teams to understand project requirements and develop cohesive design concepts that meet project goals.
• Innovation & Trends: Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices, incorporating fresh and innovative elements into design projects to maintain cutting-edge visuals.
• File Management: Organize and manage design files efficiently, ensuring easy access and collaboration for team members.
• Design Templates: Lead the creation of design templates for thumbnails and other relevant channel assets to be used across the department, ensuring adherence to YouTube-specific design principles for maximum video performance.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring all designs are error-free, align with brand guidelines, and meet specified project requirements.
