GENERAL MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to join our team and to provide effective leadership and management oversight across all operational areas.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, developing strategic initiatives and ensuring the achievement of business goals. The General Manager will report directly to the President of the Hendriks Group of Companies.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or a related field
- Agricultural business exposure is preferred
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of business operations, financial management and strategic planning
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends and make data driven decisions
- Proficient in using business management software and tools
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure efficiency and profitability of our growing business.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives, including market expansion, product diversification and revenue growth
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets and conduct financial analysis.
- Lead and mentor a team of department heads and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational and financial performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
