Greenhouse/Plant Nursery Worker

at  Slow Roots Farm

We are looking to add 2 part-time members to our team to help in all aspects of our plant nursery business
Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

• attention to detail
• good work ethic and integrity
• Ability to lift heavy items and do physically demanding work
• Ability to work in a wide range of weather conditions
• Quick hands and commitment to improve task efficiency
• enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• good communication and customer service skills
• driver’s license
• previous agricultural/horticultural/garden centre work experience is an asset
• owning a vehicle is an asset
• bilingualism is an asset
• Must be between 15-30 years old to qualify for Canada Summer Jobs Grant
  Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
  Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
