JOB TITLE: CLINIC GREETER

Job Summary: We are seeking a warm, professional, and detail-oriented individual to serve as our Clinic Greeter and Patient Experience Coordinator. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and luxurious environment for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and the ability to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Location: Downtown Vancouver - Transcend Specialized Dentistry
Position Type: Part-time (3 days a week) with potential to transition to full-time (5 days a week)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (No evenings or weekends, unless requested)
Salary Range: $24 - $28 per hour, depending on experience

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and calendar management
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light cleaning duties

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome patients as they enter the clinic
  • Offer and serve beverages (water, coffee, tea) to patients
  • Provide intake forms on iPad and help as needed
  • Check patients in on Curve (practice management software)
  • Manage the patient waiting area, ensuring comfort and satisfaction
  • Improve communication and customer service to provide 5-star level hospitality
  • Manage clinic aesthetics, including flower arrangements and decor
  • Ensure tidiness of washroom, staff room, and reception (including managing dishwasher and laundry tasks)
  • Monitor and adjust clinic ambiance (lighting, temperature, music) for optimal patient comfort
  • Update patient names on treatment room TV screens and edit and print patient aesthetic before-and-after printouts
  • Edit videos suitable for social media use
  • Maintain clear organization of Social Media content folders on Google Drive
  • Coordinate and schedule team meetings
  • Provide occasional support in answering phones when needed
  • Handle online orders and purchases for administrative needs
