Grocery and Wellness Clerk - Full Time

Assist with the cleaning, stocking, and organization of the Grocery and Wellness department. Provide friendly, upbeat customer service and detailed product knowledge. Assist with cashiering, bagging, and other customer related tasks to ensure an enjoyable shopper experience.

Starting with a group of unpaid volunteers affectionately known as the turn-ups, Wheatsville has sought to provide access to quality, sustainable food sources and be the heart of the community from our early days on Guadalupe to our expansion on South Lamar in 2013. • Stock, front and rotate groceries ensuring a clean and efficient store
• Handle customer questions and special orders in store and on the phone
• Assist with bagging, customer carry outs calls, cashiering and cart runs
• Maintain a clean and organized backstock area ensuring proper product rotation
• Develop and maintain extensive product and dietary trends knowledge to be able to efficiently and effectively address customer questions and needs
• This job requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50lbs and exposure to extreme heat and cold
• A FOOD HANDLERS & TABC CERTIFICATE are required
