ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will have:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Grounds & Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in the upkeep of our park’s grounds and facilities. Your work will ensure our guests enjoy a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment. Alongside groundskeeping, you will also assist with general maintenance tasks inside and outside our accommodation and park buildings.
This is a physical role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. You’ll need to be comfortable with tasks that involve lifting, bending, and being on your feet for extended periods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND GROUNDSKEEPING DUTIES:

• Maintain and enhance the park’s outdoor spaces, including mowing, strimming, hedge trimming, pruning, and planting.
• Keep pathways, communal areas, and parking areas clean, clear, and well-maintained.
• Monitor and maintain outdoor fixtures such as benches, signs, fencing, and lighting.
• Clear debris and assist with waste and recycling management.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE DUTIES:

• Perform routine inspections and minor building maintenance, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Assist with accommodation upkeep, ensuring all units are in top condition for guest arrivals.
• Identify and report larger maintenance issues to management, coordinating external repairs if necessary.
• Support seasonal tasks, including winterising accommodations and preparing for peak holiday periods.
