Some of the details about our work include:

• Location – 2190 Lakeshore Rd, Dunnville, Ontario
• Contract Length – April 14- October 31st, 2025
• Work Week - 5 days a week, including weekends and holidays
• Shift - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Wage - $18.25 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Aged 14 or older
· Able to lift 50lbs
· Able to squat, climb stairs and ladders
· Able to initiate conversation
· Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Able to follow directions, procedures, and protocols
· You are: reliable, detail-oriented, a problem solver, organized, punctual, self-motivated, dependable, and customer-focused
· Working knowledge of infrastructure (hydro, water, septic) beneficial
· Not afraid of hands-on, dirty work
· Ability to work outdoors in all common operating season weather conditions (i.e. heat, rain)
· Experience and comfort working with common tools and landscaping machinery (preferred)
· Experience driving golf carts, side-by-side utility vehicles, etc. (preferred)
· Working at Heights Certification a benefit
· Chainsaw Certification a benefit
· Boating License a benefit
· Lifelong learner
· Standard First Aid (preferred)

This position is integral to ensuring an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the grounds and facilities are impeccable and guest issues are solved as quickly as possible.
As a member of the team, you will be asked to:
· Grounds and Camper Maintenance
o Lawn care and maintenance including grass cutting and whipper-snipper clearing
o Garden maintenance including planting, weeding, watering, and preparing beds for the winter
o Equipment maintenance of tools and equipment used during normal operations
o Daily inspection of campground and sites to cleanliness and safety issues
o Assisting guests with getting to and parking at their sites
o Traffic management during busy check-in times
o Delivery of firewood and other items to campers
· Facility Maintenance
o Cleaning of campsites between guests
o Firepit cleaning
o Garbage collection and bin area clean-up
o Washroom maintenance between deep cleaning done by housekeeping
o Recreation Centre maintenance
o Playground and sporting/green space maintenance including regular inspections, ground maintenance, litter clean up, and equipment repairs
o Waterfront maintenance including shoreline clean up, dock maintenance, water equipment maintenance, safety equipment inspections
· Infrastructure Maintenance
o Electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance
o Troubleshooting electrical issues with campers
o Coordinating with Electricians when necessary
o Water system maintenance
o Recording of water meter readings
o Repairing water delivery system as necessary
o Septic system maintenance
o Repairs to the sewage system and clearing of blockages as needed
o Road maintenance to include clearing of roads from debris and filling potholes
· Other Duties as assigned
o Assisting other departments (i.e. washroom cleaning, etc.)
o Other Duties may be assigned by management
