Role: Group Account Director
Location: Hybrid / Dublin (onsite client facing in the client’s office 2-3 days per week)

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in client servicing and account management in relevant roles.
  • Proven experience driving organic growth. A proven track record in leading and growing accounts assigned, demonstrate hands-on management of a large & complex client and developing/winning new business within existing clients .
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple clients and projects.
  • You need to always operate with confidence and gravitas.
  • Experience working on demanding global brands. The ideal candidate will have experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • A motivation to work in the alcoholic beverages industry.
  • You should be totally comfortable in leading teams in integrated communications creative development and execution. Especially social & digital channels. Have a good creative eye. Able to work to success with Creative Director and Planning teams.
  • You will have established collaborative relationships in a cross-agency team, including with media. You have experience influencing the client’s agency eco system to the agency and client advantage. Whether that be to deliver great work, work more effectively or win more work.
  • The ability and desire to thrive in a high growth environment, you are adaptable, and you embrace change.
  • Knowledge and a passion for new technologies, with an eagerness to integrate them into your day-to-day work and solutions for clients.

  • You will have buckets of initiative and be solution focussed. You will know how to work autonomously and know when to bring in the right stakeholders and skillset to deliver the client and/or agency goals.
  • The ability to manage a client’s annual budget and help them make smart decisions about where and how to spend to get the best return.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills. You can always mediate towards a successful solution.

Responsibilities:

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Account Director will act as a business partner to clients. You will be accountable for the client relationship across a small portfolio of brands up to £1-2 million in value, that cover consumer and B2B brands. You will work with the clients to forward plan their activity, help them make smart and informed decisions about how to spend budgets, and act as their brand guardian for briefs. You will lead and oversee projects briefed into the OLIVER team. Working with project managers to deliver work on time and partnering with the creative and strategy leads to develop world-class effective work that answers the client’s brief. You will be comfortable working in close partnership and collaboration with the client. This role will need to be onsite with the client in their stunning central London office. At least three days a week to build influential relationships, although you will be flexible and go onsite when required. You will be working in a global team, based in different regions and should be comfortable managing time zones and enjoy working with different cultures.
