Hutcheon Mearns is delighted to be engaged on a Group Accountant (UK GAAP) role for an global business based in Edinburgh. The business has sites throughout the globe and is a market leader in its respective field. It is seeking a finalist or newly qualified accountant to fulfil the role of Group Accountant (UK GAAP) and join its talented technical accounting team. The role is offering up to £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + bonus and additional benefits.

Your role will include:

• Production of accurate monthly and annual financial statements
• Maintenance of the balance sheet including reconciliations
• Support the external audit process acting as a liaison
• Maintenance and development of internal control and financial policy
• Support the month end close process including journal entries and adjustments
• Liaise with colleagues in finance and the wider business as necessary
• Support projects e.g. systems development, process improvement etc

The role of Group Accountant (UK GAAP) is offering the following package:

• £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
