Description:

The Group Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager will play a crucial role in leading and executing key financial projects within the organization. This role involves managing the internal controls, enhancing financial reporting processes, and collaborating with various departments to drive efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, with a background in consultancy or audit
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant reporting or accounting role. Big 4 experience is preferred
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Execution: Lead and execute Group accounting and financial reporting projects, including transaction-related work, financial reporting process improvements, and implementing efficiencies.
  • Internal Control and Methodology: Oversee the Group’s internal control and financial reporting scope and methodology. Lead the implementation and execution of internal controls across the Group.
  • Reporting Cycle Management: Organize and lead the regular reporting cycle of SIG. This includes preparing and supporting external communications and driving the reporting processes within the global organization.
  • Project Implementation: Collaborate with the Head of Group Consolidation to implement projects aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of financial reporting systems.
  • Audit Process Leadership: Lead the Group audit process and act as the key contact for external auditors globally, including negotiating the annual Group audit fee.
  • Accounting Policy Implementation: Work with the Head of IFRS to implement and execute accounting policy changes. Train the SIG organization in accounting policies and procedures, and support the business in executing the SIG global strategy.
