JOB CONTEXT

If so, Servest has an exciting opportunity for you as our Group Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of group consolidations, audits, and financial processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- CA (SA) , Minimum 3 years experience with Group consolidations, IFRS Technical reporting, and
- Preparing financial statements Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows.
- Strong knowledge of Income Tax regulations and compliance.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond in handling projects and meeting deadlines.
- Expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Group Cash and Working Capital Management
- Group Taxation
- In-depth understanding of consolidation accounting and intercompany transactions
- Corporate Accounting: Monthly and other Reporting requirements, budgeting and Forecasting.Taxation for the Group
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements for multiple jurisdictions
- Effective team management
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse consolidated financial statements (IFRS) for Group.
- Prepare insightful variance analysis and commentary on financial results.
- Streamline and optimize the month-end and year-end close cycles.
- Reduce the time required for financial close processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards (IFRS) and implement necessary adjustments.
- Support a smooth and efficient external audit process for Group.
- Prepare comprehensive audit files and supporting documentation.
- Perform Corporate Accounting responsibilities for the various Functions within Corporate.
- Prepare Budgets and Forecasts for Corporate.
- Ensure that journals are prepared for review, approval and posted.
- Provide weekly cash flow forecasts within reasonable tolerance for the Group with variance analysis.
- Key liaison for all Tax related matters for the Group
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial accounting functions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all financial processes
