Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Research, analyse and as required concisely explain the key growth drivers of the container and logistics industry and its relative macro and micro impact on areas such as GDP and the local economy to relevant investors and/or stakeholders within and outside of the business
  • Utilise and prepare various financial models and methods including the development of business plans, growth projections and company valuations based on the identification of relevant contributing
  • Utilise CRM systems to track interactions with partners and investors, analyse data to identify trends, and generate insights to inform strategy
  • Prepare and present regular reports on partnership performance, investor feedback, and market trends to senior management
  • Provides organisational, logistical and administrative support for all IR activities including rehearsals, conference calls, webcasts, presentations, conferences and investor roadshows. This requires but is not limited to managing relationships with vendors, preparing schedules for management and investor relations often with last minute changes. There is little margin for error when completing these tasks due to the high level of stakeholders involved (CEO / CFO and DP World’s investors)Responsible for coordinating the annual Investor Relations calendar which includes working with Company Secretariat in understanding our listing obligations for the timeframe and date upon which we must disclose (as a listed company) our quarterly throughput statements, Interim and Annual Results and Annual General Meeting (Corporate Calendar). They will also need to understand the reporting process, working with Finance to incorporate key dates and deadlines for document preparation

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 2-4 years in a support role either in the financial services industry and data analytics
  • A Bachelor degree in business, finance or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication and questioning skills
  • Understand, use and maintain close and effective personal working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and CRM Systems
  • Enjoys and is able to work as part of a small team
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Ability to multi task and appreciate that projects need to be completed, with a methodical approach with an ability to work under pressure
  • Uses judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance
  • Uses own initiative and can work independently and takes responsibility for own work
