Group Controller

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Group Controller in the North GTA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions, overseeing the financial statement preparations, and conducting audits. You will also be expected to use the accounting software to maintain accurate records.

• Manage and oversee all the accounting functions related to manufacturing within the organization.
• Percentage of completion work will be required in this role.
• Will work with IFS ERP system.
• Develop and manage the monthly/annual financial reporting process within the organization
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate accounting across the organization
• Ensure all financial data is prepared and ready for any external auditing processes
• Continuously monitor accounting practices and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Professional certification such as CPA is required.
• Strong manufacturing accounting experience.
• Must have experience with IFS ERP software.
• Should be able to handle Annual Auditing process
• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills
• Should be able to multitask and manage time efficiently
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required
• Proven experience in a similar role is essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is crucial
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong numerical skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team are necessary
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
