- Australian qualified solicitor with current practicing certificate
- 2-3 years of experience practicing corporate law, commercial law, or related areas, either in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Proven experience in drafting and reviewing contracts
- Experience in property law and leasing
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel and working as part of an in-house global legal team, the Corporate Legal Counsel provides comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of commercial, contract and property matters, helping to maximise business opportunities and protect the group and its people. This role plays a crucial part in safeguarding the company’s legal interests and supporting informed decision-making across the organisation. This includes:
- Assisting the Senior Legal Counsel to provide exceptional legal services to all of the Australasian business units
- Provide advice on areas such as contract, commercial, property and compliance for both Australia and NZ
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, privacy, marketing, evaluating the impact of new legislation, and advising on statutory compliance in both Australia and NZ
