REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience within a similar role ideally a commercial and customer facing environment.
  • Health and safety and risk assessment experience.
  • Organised, structured and clear in direction with clarity of focus
  • Good ability to motivate, develop and manage teams and efficiency in working with other colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal relations with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • An excellent communicator
  • A strong business partner for the CEO and executive leadership team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and effect change

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for delivering the all statutory compliance engineering activities within agreed budget controls and time-lines.
  • Direct and monitor the effective performance of the in-house maintenance team and sub-contractors on the full range of statutory facilities services ensuring that they deliver a quality service on time and within agreed budget.
  • Execute effectively all engineering related projects through all stages ensuring that any delays are communicated and that all expectations are managed and that budget controls are maintained throughout.
  • Accountability for all Risk, Health Safety aspects ensuring that guests, customers and employees are always kept safe and any concerns highlighted are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • To be a key member of the business continuity strategy group – ensuring that emergency management is a business focus
  • To endorse develop a sustainability program - identifying opportunities for energy waste management, educating others along this journey so that all employees become aware of environmental impact of our business.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the key stakeholders ensuring that a quality service is provided by the engineering department to our stakeholders guests.
