Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Group & Event Sales Executive will provide support to the Sales management team across both group and event business to ensure the team achieves its revenue goals while delivering 5-star service to our guests.
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and a great team-player!
As Group & Event Sales Executive, key aspects of your role will include:
- Prepare Banquet Event Orders and Group resumes as directed
- Enter and maintain guest information in Opera
- Maintain and update the function space diary as required
- Communicate with guests via email, telephone and in-person
- Conduct hotel show rounds with prospective and current clients
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Liaise with Revenue to obtain bedroom rate quotes
- Liaise with the operational beverage and food teams to ensure guest requests are met
