Description:

BASE TO £200,000 PLUS BONUS

UK focused highly acquisitive PE backed real estate service provider with revenue in excess of £250 million. They are looking for a new Group Finance Director to support the CFO covering the following main duties

  • Manage the consolidation and group financial close process, including reviewing key consolidation reconciliations.
  • Drive and implement robust controls framework throughout the business.
  • Overhaul and update the current process and procedure manual.
  • Help with upskilling the existing finance team so that immaculate DD can be delivered whilst on the business’ acquisition journey.
  • Prepare and review the monthly management reporting package.
  • Review the annual external reporting pack.
  • Prepare and review quarterly external reporting package, supporting the Investor Relations team.
  • Review deferred tax calculations and prepare tax rate reconciliation on a group level.
  • Ensure timely filing of financial information as required by the regulators.
  • Develop, implement and continually review group accounting policies in accordance with IFRS.
  • Provide support and information for the Annual Sustainability Report and Economic Contribution Report.
  • Preparation of Board material related to the financial reporting area as required.
  • Manage external audit deliverables associated with financial Statements.
  • Work with the ERP team to maintain a chart of accounts as required for financials, adding cost centres as necessary.
  • Support around corporate development activities including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ensure the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective control environment.
  • Adhere to the Company’s policies including all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS HIGH-PROFILE GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR ROLE YOU SHOULD BE A QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT (MIN 10 YEARS PQE) FROM A TOP #10 PRACTICE, PE OR LISTED COMPANY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST, KNOWLEDGE OF REFINANCING, PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS, M&A, WORKED ON A SUCCESSFUL EXIT, PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE MANAGING A TEAM OF AT LEAST 8, ELIGIBLE TO WORK PERMANENTLY IN THE UK AND ABLE TO COMMIT TO A MINIMUM THREE DAYS A WEEK IN LONDON.
