  We are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join to Hanes Finance team on a Fixed Term Contact.
  Working with the group’s Functional accounting teams this role is responsible for establishing and overseeing the Hanes Australasia group’s timetable and execution of month-end close process. In addition, this role is responsible for corporate aspects of the month-end process including accounting and balance sheet reconciliations, in addition to finalising the consolidated results of the group while ensuring continued quality and adherence to the controls framework.

What experience/skills do I have?

• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably with a Big 4/Professional Services background
• A degree in accounting or finance
• CA or CPA qualified
• Excel, advanced level
• Experience working with a large accounting system, preferably JD Edwards and/or HFM consolidation package, and posting journal

• Adherence to all month end accounting and reporting responsibilities in accordance with corporate timetable.
• Completion of the group’s consolidation process and reporting of financial results
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad-hoc accounting problem solving
• External & internal audit compliance
