Your typical day could start with preparing and discussing subsidiary accounts with finance leaders across the Group. Then you might be speaking to the payroll team, supporting them in the reconciliation of payroll and pension journals in the system, before working on month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
As a Group Financial Accountant, you’ll play an essential part in delivering high-quality financial results, ensuring high-quality monthly and annual reporting. With a particular focus on providing first class accounting support to finance leaders across the Group, supporting the audit process, producing accurate and timely entity accounts, you’ll act as an internal consultant on accounting matters.
You’re a specialist in Financial Accounting, particular in FRS102 and will ideally be familiar with payroll and pension accounting, who can deliver with precision and pace. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with other teams and you’re first-rate at working with and scrutinising the quality of large complex data. You’ll need to be in the office for a minimum of 1 day per week and the remaining time you’ll be able to work remotely.
Your role covers all aspects of delivering a successful month-end and year-end process, being responsible for the preparation of the Group and subsidiary accounts and liaising with external auditors. If you are meticulous in your approach whilst being able to manage several business needs, we want to hear from you.
