About the role
A newly created role, this position supports greater supervision from the Group Finance Team over the financial records and processes of the Group’s BUs and subsidiaries, while offering opportunities for better knowledge sharing by bringing subject matter expertise in financial accounting matters and supporting numerous process improvement projects in these areas. More specifically, your duties will include:
Assist the Group Financial Reporting Manager with budget, forecast, monthly, half-yearly and annual consolidation activities.
Support the management of the consultancy half year review and full year audit to ensure deadlines are met by all stakeholders across the Group
Preparation of internal and external financial statements (including notes), the performance of complex calculations and reconciliations, while also providing audit support
Understanding complex transactions and accounting treatments
About You
CA/CPA qualified with 4-5 years’ experience, ideally with consultancy experience
Proven technical proficiency on accounting matters in an ASX listed environment.
Excellent communication, planning, organisation and leadership skills.
Attention to detail but ability to see the broader picture.
You are someone who loves deep diving into your work, a natural problem solver you are also lateral thinker who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
