  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in complex data analysis and financial modelling.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team at the Bamford Collection. The primary focus of this role is to provide insightful analysis and support to drive business performance across our diverse operations in retail and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional Excel and data manipulation skills, with proficiency in Power BI being highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting – weekly P&L and KPI reporting; accurate and timely month-end analysis;. deliver insightful management reports, including analysis of KPIs, profitability, and cost efficiencies.
  • Business Performance Insight – in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement across the business; Collaborate with operational teams to understand key drivers of performance and identify areas for improvement;
  • Data Management & Visualisation – Utilise Excel and Power BI to manage, analyse, and visualise large datasets; create and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring stakeholders have access to up-to-date and accurate information; continuously improve data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy; Present complex financial data in simple ways ensuring key messages are easily understood
  • Ad-hoc Projects – Support the CFO and wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects as required; Participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive business improvements and efficiencies.
