Group Finance Controller
Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities:

The Group Financial Controller directs the accounting, financial planning and treasury function of the Acquire BPO Group of Companies to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, corporate policies and external audits and statutory reporting requirements. The position oversees the delivery of the accounting, financial planning and treasury function that includes but is not limited to management and statutory financial reporting, revenue and receivables, expenses and payables and compliances.
Your key responsibilities include the following:

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING and REPORTING

  • Oversees the financial accounting system (Workday) of the Group.
  • Oversees the monthly and annual financial close process and ensures that all transactions are recorded properly and correctly
  • Responsible for all financial reports. Accountable to timely and accurate reporting of financial performance of the group
  • Responsible for maintaining the Companies’ books of accounts, consolidated, and individual, using the accounting system prescribed by the management
  • Ensures that the Group reporting adheres to policies and procedures and internal controls
  • In-charge with coordination and compliance with all the requirements of external auditor to ensure a clean audited financial statement opinion
  • Works with Legal Compliance Manager in ensuring compliance with all statutory reports for all government agencies of the Philippines
  • Responsible for financial statutory requirements of non-Philippine entities
  • Responsible for the tax reporting of the Group
  • Supports the CFO in all other ad-hoc reports as required

FINANCIAL PLANNING and TREASURY

  • Leads the annual budgeting processes and forecasts
  • Works with the Company’s commercial team for pricing inputs
  • Assists the Executive Team of the organization for their annual operating budget
  • Works with each Cost Center Manager of the Company in establishing their plans of spending and cost saving measures to support the projected growth of the company.
  • Provides support and provides insight to the management team for optimal business decision making
  • Responsible for proper planning and efficient management of cash of the Company
