• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven experience in a senior financial role within a multi-business unit environment, ideally within the retail and/or hospitality sectors.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Demonstrable experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proactive, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Group Financial Controller to play a key role in supporting the CFO and senior management team, providing insights that drive the company’s growth and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full responsibility for managing the finance function.
• Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, covering P&L, balance sheet and Group consolidation.
• Deliver financial analysis and insight on financial performance.
• Ensure robust financial controls are in place and adhered to.
• Own Cashflow and treasury management.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, as well as rolling forecasts and ownership of the 5 year plan.
• Provide leadership and development of the finance team.
