MINIMUM 3-5 YEARS OF PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN:

  • Group accounting/consolidation or group financial controlling in an international setting with multiple legal entities and/or
  • Developing financial processes and systems in an ERP project

Responsibilities:

GROUP REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and ensuring the correctness of Nordec Group’s monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting (IFRS)
  • Driving and coordinating the external reporting processes
  • Preparing consolidated financial statements with Nordec’s consolidation system
  • Maintaining and developing the Group’s consolidation and reporting systems, related processes and controls as well as the Group’s accounting manual and other guidelines
  • Giving support, guidance and instructions to the group finance and local finance teams concerning IFRS reporting matters, accounting and consolidation systems and related processes
  • Coordinating annual audit processes

FINANCIAL PROCESS AND SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the development of harmonised financial processes (A/P, A/R, accounting and other) as part of Nordec’s upcoming ERP project
  • Upgrading Nordec’s consolidation system
  • Actively participating in a team developing Nordec’s CSRD reporting

IN THE GROUP REPORTING ROLE, THE KEY SUCCESS FACTORS ARE:

  • Good knowledge of IFRS
  • Capability to prepare group financial statements and reports including notes
  • Experience and knowledge of consolidation systems and tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of taxes and transfer pricing is seen as positive

IN THE FINANCIAL PROCESS AND SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT ROLE, THE KEY SUCCESS FACTORS ARE:

  • Experience and knowledge of different ERP systems and financial systems
  • Demonstrated results in driving development projects related to financial processes and systems

GENERAL SUCCESS FACTORS IN BOTH ROLES:

  • Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Very strong skills in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of construction project business from finance perspective is an advantage
  • A master’s degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, economics, or engineering
  • Fluency in the English language, knowledge of Finnish and/or Swedish is a benefit
