Description:

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller who is fast-thinking, analytical, and thrives in a changing environment. The ideal candidate is eager to develop his/her personal skills and to take on key responsibilities, including managing important projects within the Profoto Group. We are building a new finance team at our headquarters, and you will be an important part of it.
You will be based in our head office in Sundbyberg, Stockholm, with a flexible workplace arrangement, reporting directly to the CFO. You will also work closely with the Group Accounting Manager, Business Controller, the Finance BP & IR team members, and our outsourced accounting team. You will have regular contact with specialists in various areas who can provide support and advice on projects and tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Group Financial Controller, you will collaborate closely with the Group Accounting Manager to ensure that our third-party accounting provider meets our high-quality standards for all Profoto Group subsidiaries in eight countries.

Your responsibilities also include:

  • Financial Closing and Consolidation: Manage the monthly financial closing and quality assurance of internal reporting, focusing specifically on group consolidation according to IFRS requirements.
  • Developing and Producing Financial Reports: Be a key player in preparing the public quarterly and annual reports.
  • Internal Controls: Be responsible for the internal control processes across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, providing support and guidance to subsidiaries and other parts of the organization on accounting, reporting, and system-related questions.
  • Audit Coordination: Collaborate with auditors during the audit process to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, maintaining continuous contact with them.
  • Tax and VAT Reporting: Support Group Accounting Manager in the tax and VAT reporting processes for Swedish entities.
  • Treasury Activities: Responsible for overseeing the Treasury activities process and ensuring it is properly followed.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Experience working in audit or a finance function within a public international organization.
  • Experience in group consolidation and external reporting from an international group. Experience of impairment testing and capitalization of internally developed immaterial assets is a plus.
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English is a requirement.
  • A skilled professional who thrives in a high-performance culture.
