For our Group Accounting and Reporting department we are looking with immediate effect or by agreement for a
REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, particularly Swiss GAAP FER and OR
- Experience with internal control systems, either through prior roles or involvement in their implementation
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., IDL, SAP) and advanced Excel skills, with a willingness to embrace new IT applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, a team player with an open and positive attitude
- Demonstrates resilience, dedication, and self-initiative
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and prepare timely and accurate financial reports to present the financial results of the Weleda Group
- Validate the financial statements of international subsidiaries and maintain close communication with them to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support the preparation of the Weleda Group’s year-end external consolidated financial statements in accordance with OR/Swiss GAAP FER
- Optimize the consolidation process and systems to enhance efficiency and increase automation in reporting processes
- Take responsibility for and further develop the internal control system (ICS) across global operations
- Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Conduct financial analysis and handle special Projects as assigned by management
