For our Group Accounting and Reporting department we are looking with immediate effect or by agreement for a

REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:

  • Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant Accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, particularly Swiss GAAP FER and OR
  • Experience with internal control systems, either through prior roles or involvement in their implementation
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., IDL, SAP) and advanced Excel skills, with a willingness to embrace new IT applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, a team player with an open and positive attitude
  • Demonstrates resilience, dedication, and self-initiative
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare timely and accurate financial reports to present the financial results of the Weleda Group
  • Validate the financial statements of international subsidiaries and maintain close communication with them to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support the preparation of the Weleda Group’s year-end external consolidated financial statements in accordance with OR/Swiss GAAP FER
  • Optimize the consolidation process and systems to enhance efficiency and increase automation in reporting processes
  • Take responsibility for and further develop the internal control system (ICS) across global operations
  • Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Conduct financial analysis and handle special Projects as assigned by management
