Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Development and maintenance of adult services operational policy and procedure framework and platform(s)
  • Develop process maps to support the implementation and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Support with the launch and implementation of policies through presentations/briefings/workshops/communication and/or attendance at departmental meetings
  • Keep abreast of developments within the sector which could inform policy and practice.
  • Manage the hosting platform site(s) for policies - ensuring the policy and policy documents are readily available across all relevant departments.
  • Review and analyse regulatory inspection reports to identify themes to inform policy and procedural review.
  • Undertake research and provide background briefings and information for key internal and external stakeholders and meetings.
  • Source and collate policy-related information used for media and legal inquiries
  • Monitor policy, legislative and other developments relevant to our regulated environment and identify implications for the organisation.
  • Schedule and administer key meetings ensuring agendas, reports and actions are prepared and disseminated accordingly.
  • Supervise, coach and support and motivate staff in implementing policies.
  • Write, and support the production of policies, guidance, briefings, consultation materials to website and intranet and other documents as required.
  • Develop and implement processes to review and analyse organisational and operational knowledge and understanding of policy and procedure.
  • Work with Compliance & Regulation team members and other colleagues to ensure policy-related initiatives are embedded operationally and remain strong for the duration required.
  • Attend key meetings as directed and take minutes/actions where necessary.
  • Undertake other duties as required by the post.
