GROUP HRM: TALENT & ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We are looking for a professional, dynamic and pro-active HR Manager with strong consulting skills who can provide specialist support service to our Business. Based in Somerset West, reporting to the Group Financial Director, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of HR strategies within the business as well as develop best practice solutions to a broad range of HR capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Align HR strategies for attracting, engaging, developing & retaining employees with our business goals and drive the execution of these strategies, contributing to organizational success
  • Oversee the group’s recruitment initiatives, ensuring that sustainable processes are in place and continuously improved
  • Lead the groups training and development initiatives while managing a broad range of talent management and development processes
  • Manage processes, such as onboarding & induction, culture initiatives and performance reviews to contribute positively to employee engagement and experience
  • Supervise and provide input to a broad range of operational HR functions across multiple departments, ensuring consistency and compliance with policies and regulations
  • Lead, guide and support the Group Services HR team, and provide guidance to the Operational HR teams where required
  • Consult with senior stakeholders on a wide variety of HR topics, to influence decision making and foster positive working relationships
  • Drive and continuously improve the HR data and reporting framework to inform decision-making, measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Honours degree in Behavioural Sciences, (preferably Master’s in industrial psychology) or similar qualification.
  • Strong preference will be given to candidates who are registered with the HPCSA as a psychometrist/psychologist.
  • Experience: 8+ years HR Management experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience at senior management level.
  • Strong collaborator: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using HR data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive various HR initiatives.
