Description:
As a Group insurance contract writing technician, you will be drafting group insurance contracts. You will provide technical support for the drafting of documents and insurance contracts and for the administration of agreements. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Prepare standard group contracts, brochures and changes
- Provide technical support for projects and operational issues by liaising with the legal team about issues and questions. Communicate with all group operations sectors
- Draw up simple insurance contracts using the insurance application
- Monitor deadlines to meet production deadlines
- Make sure the documents produced meet the client’s expectations (in the insurance application)
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks (prepare texts in PDF format and post materials on business portals)
- Update and follow up on files

What you bring to the table
- College diploma in linguistic, writers, paralegal or a related field
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of group insurance
- Advanced proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in MS Word
