Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Group Head of P&C, this is an opportunity to take complete ownership of the Learning and Development function for the Freightways Group. There will be direction from P&C and the CEO, but you will have autonomy to lead the future landscape of the function and control how you want to work.
The key deliverables for the role include:
- Developing, implementing and communicating a learning strategy for the organisation as well as providing an annual learning plan and calendar that supports this strategy.
- Designing and implementing engaging training and workshops that empower employees and enhance their skills across all levels of the business.
- Partner with the P&C teams to drive initiatives for a high-performance, learning culture that promotes engagement, innovation, and inclusion.
- Partner with the Head of P&C to identify, calibrate and support succession development programmes and plans.
- Build career maps, promote career stories and align development milestones so Freightways people can easily navigate their development and career trajectory.
- Oversee the management of the Learning Management System (LMS) and develop the e-learning offering strategy.
- Provide expert advice on learning trends, share best practices, and mentor others to grow their knowledge and skills.
- Use Freightways data to identify trends, advise managers and support decision making.
- Applying L&D expertise and knowledge, to support the Corporate Team on the design and development of the Group EVP and Branding Strategy.
