Sealed Air Australia is seeking a seasoned engineer with a strong background in manufacturing and proven people management skills. We are looking for a leader who is ready to step into a key role within our dynamic, fast-paced, and diverse organization.
Location: Fawkner, VIC
Role Overview: This pivotal role is responsible for leading an effective maintenance team to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of all assets on the Fawkner Site.
Part of the site leadership team, you will collaborate with your global peers to bring world class maintenance practices to the Fawkner operation. Additionally, you will manage smaller capital and improvement projects. Key Responsibilities: Foster a safe working environment, leading towards a zero-harm workplace. Develop and implement maintenance strategies for optimal asset performance. Utilize maintenance resources in an efficient, cost-effective way. Lead and manage Site Capital and Process Improvement Projects. Optimize the use of the CMMS to drive improved maintenance system performance and accountability. Drive and lead change and transformation initiatives. Maintain a clear focus on eliminating waste, simplifying processes, sustaining gains, and creating flow. Ideal Candidate Profile: A proven safety leader who aspires to an injury free workplace. A leader who has demonstrated the ability to build a high performing team. Tertiary qualification in engineering with a manufacturing orientation. Strong sense of ownership and visible leadership. Exposure to Lean tools and methodologies Reliability centred mindset Ability to identify and address issues proactively. Experienced in SAP or other CMMS Strong data analysis capability
