Job Description
As the Senior Manager of Global Sales Plays & Outbound Marketing at Zendesk, you are the marketing leader driving sales plays, and outbound sales-focused content globally. Your mission is to create high-performing global sales plays and campaigns that drive business outcomes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of marketing experience in B2B SaaS
- Experience leading teams to own end-to-end execution of global sales and campaign materials, collaborating with sales leadership to prioritize work for impact.
- Experience building measurement and feedback loops for qualitative and quantitative insights in a test, learn and improve approach.
- Ability to synthesize persona, competitive and product intelligence into simple & clear materials
- Ability to use data insights to optimize marketing performance
- Strong communication skills across all levels, from marketing and sales professionals to executives
- Experience collaborating across multiple internal teams and departments and building effective relationships to influence change
- A bias for fast but thoughtful action, results, and delivery with a high-quality bar

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Sales Play Leadership: Be the marketing lead on sales plays, driving the cross-functional strategy and alignment to global campaigns, as well as owning end-to-end execution. Your role is to support the selling process in measurable ways, improving business outcomes: pipeline, time to close and win rates.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Work across product marketing and sales teams to infuse compelling positioning and messaging into sales plays in ways that differentiate our products in the marketplace and creates clarity for sales teams. You will collaborate to simplify persona, competitive and product intelligence.
- Global Partnership: Collaborate with regional marketing teams to develop/evolve sales plays and outbound sales content in alignment with regional needs and global campaigns.
- Measure & Optimize: Develop a data-driven approach to measuring performance and impact of Sales Plays and global marketing campaigns. Create feedback loops with sales using both qualitative and quantitative insights to enable your team to test, learn and improve results over time.
- Content Governance: Establish guidelines for content creation and maintain a global library of sales and marketing content to ensure alignment across regional and global sales/marketing teams.
