Description:

The Core Group are looking for a visionary Group Marketing Executive to lead the marketing strategy across our diverse brands. In this key role, you will develop and execute cutting-edge marketing initiatives that drive growth and strengthen brand presence.
Based in Gauteng and reporting to the Group CEO, you will manage a talented team of around 25 professionals, ensuring that our marketing efforts are unified and impactful across our group of companies and brands, including ZaOnline, Core Group, Techmarkit, Integrated Retail, and Nintendo.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Honours degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.

Experience Required:

  • 15+ years of experience in senior marketing roles.
  • Proven expertise in managing C-suite stakeholder relationships.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading a diverse marketing team.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Provide strategic thought leadership for the business, the marketing team, and key stakeholders across the group.
  • Integrate and optimize marketing efforts across various channels to ensure a seamless and cohesive customer experience.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, including campaigns, events, and digital marketing, in alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, utilizing appropriate technologies and data-driven insights to enhance online presence, customer engagement, and sales.
  • Oversee content creation and management, producing compelling marketing materials such as blog articles, social media posts, and other content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitors, and consumer behaviours across both B2B and B2C segments.
  • Identify potential gaps and marketing opportunities within the group and its brands.
  • Conduct industry research and trend analysis to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Manage cross-functional projects that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Provide leadership to a team of marketing specialists and creatives, fostering collaboration across the Senior Management team.
