Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Operational Risk Training Manager reports to the Group Head of Operational Risk. The position is responsible for producing training material in safeguarding and safety for all schools, regions and central. Primarily the role will focus on safeguarding material working with the Group Safeguarding Managers. This role is to be based in the UK office, Wimbledon.

ISP GROUP OPERATIONAL RISK TRAINING MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safeguarding

  • Working with the Group Safeguarding Managers to produce training materials and learning experiences for all ISP employees.
  • Review and update current in-house training to ensure it is user-friendly, engaging and meets the needs of ISP.
  • Working with schools and the learning team to provide suitable training and learning experiences that support Skills for Life and underpins the ISP Group’s safeguarding philosophy of early intervention.

Safety

  • Working with the Group Safety Managers to produce relevant training materials and learning experiences that will support school Health and Safety Coordinators and school heads in building strong safety cultures within each and every ISP school.
  • Working with the Operational Risk Team to ensure that ISP has engaging and user- friendly training for all employees in relation to Educational visits.

Other

  • Perform any other reasonable tasks or activities that are assigned.
  • To be fully effective, the role requires collaboration with colleagues and partners at a variety of levels, including SLT, management, contractors and consultants.
  • Adhere to the ISP policies, rules and procedures including but not limited to Code of Conduct, Health and Safety, Dignity at Work, and all other legislative, governance and best practice requirements.
