Role Overview: As the Group Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for optimising the revenue potential of our UK and Ireland hotel portfolio. Based in Newcastle, you will lead the revenue management strategy for multiple properties, ensuring that all pricing, inventory, and distribution channels are aligned with the company’s overall financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to develop and execute data-driven strategies that drive profitability.
Experience in managing revenue streams from Accommodation, Meetings and Events, Golf, and Spa operations will be highly beneficial, as these are critical areas that contribute significantly to overall hotel revenue.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, ideally in a multi-property role.
- Experience within local markets of the locations of our properties would be a high advantage.
- Experience in managing revenue for Meetings and Events, Golf, and Spa operations is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
- In-depth knowledge of revenue management systems (RMS) and property management systems (PMS).
- Excellent understanding of online distribution channels and third-party booking platforms.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximise room revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR across multiple properties.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand fluctuations to adjust pricing strategies in real-time.
- Optimise revenue streams from Meetings and Events, Golf, and Spa operations by working closely with relevant department heads.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and create detailed revenue reports to present to senior management.
- Collaborate with General Managers, Sales and Marketing teams to align revenue strategies with operational goals.
- Manage inventory across various online distribution channels, ensuring optimal availability and competitive pricing.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the hotel portfolio, ensuring accurate and realistic financial projections.
- Utilise revenue management systems (RMS) to monitor and adjust strategies based on real-time data.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners including OTAs, corporate accounts, and event planners to drive revenue growth.
- Continuously monitor and improve processes to enhance revenue performance and operational efficiency.
