Description:

A lifestyle Hotel based on London’s eccentric South Bank. With 359 bedrooms, award-winning food and drink outlets and an electric energy, Sea Containers London is a destination where glamour meets brutalism – and it’s your London anchor on the River Thames.
As Group Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving group bookings and maximizing revenue for both hotels. This role requires a results-driven individual with strong networking abilities, a passion for relationship-building, and a strategic mindset. Working closely with our sales teams at both locations, you’ll develop and execute sales strategies that increase group occupancy and help establish our hotels as the preferred choice for corporate, leisure, and special event groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Identify, acquire, and manage key group accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of repeat business.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies that align with the unique brand offerings of both hotels and capitalize on opportunities in corporate, leisure, and event sectors.
  • Revenue Optimization: Work closely with the Revenue Management team to optimize group booking rates, room block allocations, and packages, ensuring maximum profitability.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Actively represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and local networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and secure new business.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with hotel operations, events, and marketing teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of group events, from booking to on-site service.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales activity, revenue generation, and market trends, providing insights to guide future sales strategies.
