Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Automation and Workflow Optimisation: Efficiently organise and link design files, utilising Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries for streamlined asset management and effective collaboration. Implement automation techniques and workflow hacks to enhance productivity and ensure consistent, high-quality design outputs.
  • Creative Brief Interpretation: Lead the interpretation of creative briefs and provide innovative, high-quality, and brand-aligned creative design concepts. Ensure these concepts effectively communicate the intended message and meet business objectives.
  • Brand Creative Guidelines: Develop, maintain, and consistently execute brand creative guidelines. Ensure all design work adheres to these guidelines, promoting a cohesive and strong brand identity across all channels and platforms.
  • Visual Brand Identity: Utilize design style guides to maintain consistent visual brand identity across work for different internal brands, channels, and platforms, focusing on digital and direct outputs.
  • Graphic Toolkits: Build and maintain graphic toolkits that enable design teams to create high-quality assets consistent with the brand and campaign aesthetic. Develop assets and templates to streamline design processes and ensure consistency.
  • Campaign Ideation and Direction: Ideate and oversee the creative direction of brand-led campaigns. Produce thoughtful and innovative work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative Strategy Leadership: Lead creative strategy aligned with business objectives, messaging, audiences, and priorities. Implement a robust creative publishing schedule across corporate and social platforms to drive deeper engagement with audiences and increase ad recall and brand recognition.
  • Consumer Insights: Work cross-functionally with teams to develop a deeper understanding of consumer insights. This understanding will inform and enhance creativity, ensuring design work resonates with target audiences.
  • Conceptual and Design Skills: Demonstrate strong conceptual and design skills in delivering creatives for campaigns and media plans. Execute print and digital design across all channels, including web, email, video/social, and digital media.
  • Emerging Design Trends: Proactively identify emerging design trends and contribute to robust internal creative conversations. Ensure that DP World’s design work remains current, innovative, and competitive.
  • Workflow Management: Work efficiently within a creative content team, managing and prioritizing workflow. Maintain ongoing communication with content and marketing colleagues to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Digital Media Asset Management: Oversee the management and organization of digital media assets. Ensure that all assets are easily accessible and maintained to support ongoing and future projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other designers, copywriters, and vendors. Foster a positive and productive culture within the team and contribute to the overall growth of the creative department.
  • Organizational Skills: Exhibit excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards of quality.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Educational Background: BS/MS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or equivalent professional agency experience.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in graphic design for advertising or a similar field.
  • Proven track record with an outstanding portfolio showcasing bold and impactful brand communication and graphic design across various visual styles for both digital and print media.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing across a range of social media marketing collateral.
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively—developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Thorough working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and other industry-standard design tools Sketch, Figma etc
  • Experience with best practices for information architecture and design, as well as usability principles and techniques.
  • Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail and a demanding drive for quality executions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects concurrently, and have the flexibility to work across global time zones.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
