Why this role is important to us
The Group Transfer Pricing Consultant will be an integral part of our tax and transfer pricing team, a specialized subset within Group Finance. Our team, consisting of two skilled professionals, is responsible for overseeing the transfer pricing compliance and strategy across all SimCorp entities.
Based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, you will join a highly skilled Group Finance team of 35 members.This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape SimCorp’s transfer pricing strategy and ensure compliance across our global operations.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Tax and M&A, your primary responsibility will be to lead and coordinate transfer pricing initiatives that support SimCorp’s business strategies.
Position Overview
As a Group Transfer Pricing Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting SimCorp’s global organization with transfer pricing solutions. Your work will involve analyzing and evaluating transfer pricing structures, ensuring compliance with global regulations, and continuously implementing improvements in our transfer pricing models.
You will be responsible for the annual update of master and local transfer pricing documentation for SimCorp A/S and its subsidiaries. This includes drafting reports, collecting and analyzing financial data, and collaborating with subsidiaries’ finance teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.We take pride in contributing to SimCorp’s growth through high-quality work. What you will be responsible for
As a Group Transfer Pricing Consultant, you will:
- Collaborate closely with Group Finance, subsidiary finance teams, and external tax advisors to develop and implement transfer pricing solutions.
- Lead the annual update of master and local transfer pricing documentation for SimCorp A/S and its subsidiaries.
- Prepare and file transfer pricing documentation for Danish entities in collaboration with the Tax Manager.
- Facilitate continuous improvement efforts by enhancing transfer pricing models and ensuring their effectiveness.
- Manage transfer pricing audits and participate in projects that involve complex transfer pricing issues.
What we value (our requirements)
Experience and Education:
- Experience in corporate finance, ideally with transfer pricing responsibilities, within a multinational corporation or auditing environment.
- A relevant degree such as Cand. merc. aud., Cand. merc. jur., or equivalent, along with at least three years of relevant experience in a Danish multinational corporation or similar setup, is required.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong expertise in transfer pricing, preferably in an international context.
- A master’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, tax, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in consultancy, accountancy, or financial analysis.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and other MS Office tools.
- Advanced communication skills, with fluency in English (both verbal and written). Knowledge of the Danish language is beneficial.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A proactive approach to driving change and improvements in transfer pricing practices.
