This role is integral to maximizing revenue opportunities and providing stellar customer experiences from the first point of contact to departure.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
As our Reservations Agent, you will be a crucial part of our busy reservations team, focusing on both group and transient business demands. Your role will involve detailed coordination with various hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as part of a dynamic team to maximize all revenue opportunities through effective management of group and transient bookings.
- Utilize excellent administrative and communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of group business from the initial inquiry through to departure.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to guarantee all group sector bookings are accurate and meet guest expectations.
- Handle inquiries and bookings via telephone and our online booking system, converting inquiries into confirmed sales.
- Process, amend, and update bookings as necessary, ensuring optimal occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain constant communication with the reception and other relevant teams about occupancy levels, special events, and VIP guests.
- Participate in quarterly incentives, driving performance and enhancing team morale.
