Description:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Completed a Horticulture or Agronomy Certificate or Diploma
- 2 years work experience in horticulture (cannabis or other plants)
- Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong inventory and production management skills
- Must possess excellent communication skills for communicating with peers and schedulers
- Highly capable of multi-tasking, with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Good level of English.
Responsibilities:
- Manage crops and monitors environment within their assigned growing area
- Work with Greenhouse Operations Lead and supervisors to mentor in the training of Leads on the performance of production employees while maintaining a safe, clean and compliant workplace
- Coordinates with Greenhouse Operations Lead to ensure fertigation sytems are maintained
- Coordinates with Greenhouse Operations Lead timing of crop maintenance based on crop assessments
- Complete all documentation to meet the company GACP/GMP standards requirements as it relates to the greenhouse environment
- Ensure Batch Records are maintained with on time entry and crop logs and documentation are completed for assigned crops
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety
- Provide leadership for problem and conflict resolution
- Follow and contribute to the improvement of the Cultural Program
- Coordinates with IPM Supervisor the needs of their growing area
- Perform all aspects of crop analysis, scouting, fertigation and verification of work related to the crops within your zones
- Provide assistance and backup coverage to other Zone growers based on their days off/holidays.
