Description:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed a Horticulture or Agronomy Certificate or Diploma
  • 2 years work experience in horticulture (cannabis or other plants)
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong inventory and production management skills
  • Must possess excellent communication skills for communicating with peers and schedulers
  • Highly capable of multi-tasking, with minimal supervision
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Good level of English.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage crops and monitors environment within their assigned growing area
  • Work with Greenhouse Operations Lead and supervisors to mentor in the training of Leads on the performance of production employees while maintaining a safe, clean and compliant workplace
  • Coordinates with Greenhouse Operations Lead to ensure fertigation sytems are maintained
  • Coordinates with Greenhouse Operations Lead timing of crop maintenance based on crop assessments
  • Complete all documentation to meet the company GACP/GMP standards requirements as it relates to the greenhouse environment
  • Ensure Batch Records are maintained with on time entry and crop logs and documentation are completed for assigned crops
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety
  • Provide leadership for problem and conflict resolution
  • Follow and contribute to the improvement of the Cultural Program
  • Coordinates with IPM Supervisor the needs of their growing area
  • Perform all aspects of crop analysis, scouting, fertigation and verification of work related to the crops within your zones
  • Provide assistance and backup coverage to other Zone growers based on their days off/holidays.
