Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Growth Business Leader (GBL) is a newly established role at Avalere Health that will play a critical role in the Central Commercial function. Responsible for leading the growth strategy, planning and execution for several of the company’s top 15 clients, the GBL will operate as a strategic partner with our clients and collaborate extensively across the organization at all levels to generate growth.
This is a leadership position that requires a strategic thinker with a solutions mindset. You will be passionate about making a meaningful difference to the level and strength of partnership we can provide to our clients. You will play a key role in leading pitches and significant proposals bringing proven ability in storytelling, with a solution focussed mindset to provide leadership for clients and internal teams in delivering pitch success. You will have your finger on the pulse with our existing clients, to drive organic opportunity and will be agile to support incoming new business opportunities across Avalere Health. You are a commercially focused leader and a strong relationship builder. You will forge effective networks internally and externally and be the go-to for pitch leadership guidance and best in class growth in your clients and across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop strategic growth plans for named priority clients to support all capabilities across Avalere Health, ensuring an integrated and cohesive approach to growth.
  • Develop senior level client relationships and networks working with and supporting capability teams to ensure the continued success of existing client relationships, brands and accounts.
  • Work with all capability leadership teams to strategize, identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities for key target areas.
  • Work in lockstep with Commercial Finance on pricing, negotiations, contractual terms and conditions, incentive strategy and management, etc.
  • Partner and lead with teams, as required, to lead and execute proposals and pitch presentations for organic growth/new business opportunities.
