We are looking for an experienced and passionate Growth Marketing Manager to complement our growing Marketing department. If you’re a creative and data-oriented marketing and communications professional who is driven by a love for travel and inspired by innovation, we want to hear from you.
Reporting to our Director of Marketing, the Growth Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s growth and success by leading and supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass seasonal campaign development, destination marketing, email marketing and editorial. Your primary objectives will be to grow awareness of the Discover Holidays brands, acquire new customers, optimize the marketing funnel, drive conversions and achieve year-over-year growth. This is a full-time, in-office role at our beautiful downtown Vancouver office.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Craft seasonal marketing campaign proposals and collaborate with tourism partners to create engaging promotions and advertisements
  • Promote destinations with compelling narratives, emphasizing unique selling points (USPs) and leveraging various tactics to reach specific audiences
  • Maintain the marketing calendar, ensuring a cohesive brand narrative at all customer touch points
  • Own the email marketing channel from the ground up, building and managing our email marketing campaigns, tracking performance and optimizing audience segmentation to increase engagement and conversion rates
  • Manage the effective publishing and distribution of marketing content across our channels - including our websites, blog, social and email channels
  • Regularly measure campaign and channel performance to establish KPIs and drive channel optimization
  • Lead cross-functional campaign reporting for both internal stakeholders as well as external partners
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to align marketing efforts with broader company objectives
  • Other responsibilities as required, including supporting our editorial, content, and social strategies

SKILLS

  • Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing and campaign management
  • 1+ years of management experience leading a team of 1-3 individuals
  • A deep understanding of DTC marketing, ideally with travel, retail or lifestyle products
  • Experience in email marketing and using an email service provider (Mailchimp, Klaviyo) required
  • Familiarity with the travel and tourism industry (seasonal trends, major players, and emerging destinations) a plus
  • An ability to work collaboratively and autonomously, managing several projects and channels at a time
  • Strong organizational planning, communication and project management skills
