JOB SUMMARY:

The GSOC Analyst,assigned to a specific client, will support the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in Cork, Ireland, providing 24/7/365 continuous monitoring, incident detection, and response services for the client’s global operations. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual to manage alarms, provide travel and journey management support, and oversee access control operations.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a security operational role, relevant security related certifications/qualifications would be desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Operate the GSOC in shift patterns as required.
  • Provide a high level of service to local and remote client sites and staff with an emphasis on the security and safety of client’s staff, assets, and information.
  • Monitor security alarms, notifications, and surveillance systems in real-time to detect and assess potential security incidents.
  • Conduct event security monitoring and provide timely incident response according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support travel and journey management by tracking employee movements, assessing travel risks, and providing real-time alerts and guidance.
  • Manage access control operations to ensure only authorised personnel access sensitive areas.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all monitored activities, incidents, and responses.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on GSOC activities and identifying trends or potential improvements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including security personnel, emergency services, and other relevant entities, to ensure effective incident management.
  • Participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on the latest security trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Support the GSOC Manager and Lead Analysts with additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
  • Maintain active awareness of the monitored environment to promote safe and effective working.
  • Maintain a conscientious and proactive approach to achieve excellent standards.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
