About the opportunity:
Shutterstock’s Global Sales Partner team manages Shutterstock’s partner network, driving local customers’ and sales growth across the range of Shutterstock products with a local flavour.
We’re seeking an experienced Manager with a proven track record of successful creative and strategic sales solutions to work with our Global Sales Partner in China. The role will manage, coach, support, and positively engage with Shutterstock’s Chinese Sales Partner, driving and accelerating their sales and customer growth, contributing to our Sales Partner team’s track record of sustained success.
Our ideal candidate loves selling creative and strategic sales solutions, has an analytical mindset, and is a strong communicator and relationship builder.

The day to day:

  • Meet and exceed agreed quarterly and annual sales and KPI goals for our assigned Sales Partner.
  • Analyse and share relevant client sales data, providing input for driving client sales retention, growth, and new business.
  • Oversee and manage Partner client sales opportunity creation, including approvals for pricing, licence terms, and legal terms for sales agreement execution.
  • Manage and provide insight into the Partner’s monthly sales opportunity pipeline and provide monthly/quarterly sales forecasts to the Line Manager.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to:
  • Build and deliver a relevant product suite for in-market Chinese customer sales.
  • Develop and deliver SSTK product, systems, and brand training programs for Partner employees.
  • Optimise SSTK system workflow for Partner in line with the SSTK system framework, with regular evaluation to drive efficiency, accuracy, usage, and relevance.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Legal team colleagues to ensure the Partner’s payment record remains in good standing at all times and that Partner agreements and amendments are up to date as required.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Mandarin and English speaker
  • 4-6 years experience in a sales or sales management role
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on driving growth within xx accounts.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute account plans that result in revenue expansion.
  • Strong communication skills, with a consultative approach and the ability to persuade and influence decision-makers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skills to balance multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using CRM systems to manage client relationships and sales pipelines effectively.
