POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the direction of the Guest Service Manager, Front Office Shift Supervisor or Front Office Manager the Guest Services Agent is responsible for assisting service staff in maintaining all front office related areas within the Hotel. Emphasis must be placed on exceptional customer service, as the Guest Services Agent you will be dealing directly with customers. The Guest Services Agent is responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures within the Hotel at all times. Required to take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and health of guests and that safe work practices are adhered to at all times.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Guest Services Attendant is an integral part of the Guest Services Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests are well looked after from the start. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high-profile department carries a special responsibility. The Guest Services Attendant is stationed at the bell stand inside the hotel and greets each guest by name upon arrival and departure. The Guest Services Agent transports luggage to the guest room for arrivals and transports luggage for departing guests to the hotel entrance or into temporary storage. The Guest Services Agent also provides arriving guests with a hotel orientation.
We are seeking individuals with: Passion for service, strong work ethic, flexible scheduling and adaptable personalities, commitment to teamwork and good communication skills and professional presentation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • We are looking for candidates who have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi task are required.
  • Able to stand for 8 hours per shift and the ability to lift and push at least 50lbs.
  • The ideal candidate will also have a positive attitude and be knowledgeable about the attractions, events and activities going on in and around Calgary
  • It would be beneficial if they had prior hotel guest service or customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication, Verbal and Written Skill
  • Must have employment eligibility in Canada
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Other duties as required.
