SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Our ideal candidate will have;

  • Previous experience in a H&S or training coordination role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills, able to adjust to the situation and keep people on side.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach to responding to issues, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Exceptional administration skills, systems savvy, with the ability to analyse information for risks, themes and trends.
  • Attention to detail with adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

The organisation is going through a journey of change to create a collaborative and values driven culture. The wellbeing of its staff is critical to success with this role taking an active approach to safety, training and compliance. Working alongside managers in key operational functions, you will be providing support and advice, contributing to safety initiatives, maintaining systems, records and critical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
With a keen eye for detail, you will identify themes and trends coming through reporting systems, elevating risks for review. You will be an active participant in H&S meetings, facilitate induction processes for new staff members and become a trusted advisor to the business.
